Whitehead Dingley & Betar is a Chartered Accounting Practice located in the heart of the Sydney CBD. We are a boutique-sized practice working with private businesses, family groups, high net-worth individuals, self-managed super funds and professional service firms. Our practice is big enough to deliver the same services as the big firms, but small enough that we’re accessible, approachable and can still work closely with you. Because of this we have gained a reputation as an innovative, proactive and forward-thinking practice.
Our History
Whitehead Dingley & Betar was founded in the early 1960’s and was later taken over by Chris Betar in 1988 when he relocated from Brisbane where he was a partner in a medium sized accountancy practice. The business was first established in Bondi Junction and later moved to the CBD of Sydney which appealed to a wider audience and was more readily accessible by the growing clientele of the practice. Kate Hills joined Whitehead Dingley & Betar in 2005 and quickly made her mark as an expert in all things tax and was admitted as partner in 2015.

Our goal is to provide an outstanding service to our clients: helping our business clients to achieve greater profitability, and our individual clients to enjoy greater wealth. Our growth is almost entirely due to word of mouth referrals from existing clients.
